Product Overview

This mold & tool steel dedicated vacuum tempering furnace is upgraded on standard single chamber vacuum temper furnace, solving the core pain of die cracking, uneven hardness and surface oxidation after quenching tempering. Unlike general-purpose vacuum temper furnaces with universal temperature programs, this model equips customized low-temperature slow heating curve system targeting H13, SKD11, M2 high-speed steel, punch dies and stamping molds.

 

The inner hearth adopts reinforced heavy-duty refractory bracket to stack thick large mold blanks without deformation. Independent low-temperature hot air circulation fan eliminates local temperature dead zones inside cavity, ensuring uniform internal & external tempering effect for thick mold cores. Full vacuum closed environment keeps mold surface metallic bright without black oxide scale, cutting post polishing cost for mold factories.

Working Principle

After loading stacked mold blanks into reinforced hearth, fully seal furnace door and pump to high vacuum state. The PLC system runs mold-specific slow heating curve to avoid thermal stress crack. Built-in circulation fan stirs vacuum hot flow evenly across thick mold sections for consistent temper hardness. Complete whole heat preservation & cooling cycle under oxygen-free vacuum environment to retain bright mold finish without oxidation discoloration.
