A horizontal vacuum tempering furnace is a high-precision vacuum heat treatment device, primarily used for tempering mechanical parts after vacuum quenching. It can also perform low-temperature annealing and aging treatments. This type of equipment prevents workpiece oxidation through a vacuum environment, ensuring a bright surface finish after treatment. It is widely used in automotive parts, tool and die steel, and precision machinery.

Core Features and Working Principle

The horizontal vacuum tempering furnace adopts a horizontal structure design, with workpieces placed horizontally. It is suitable for processing long shafts or batches of small parts. Its core advantage lies in the uniform heating and cooling under vacuum conditions.

Vacuum Sealing and Heating System

The equipment is typically equipped with a high-pressure vacuum-sealed stainless steel fan system. Hot air circulation ensures uniform heating of the workpiece, with furnace temperature uniformity reaching ±3℃ to ±5℃.

The furnace structure is divided into external heating and internal heating types. The external heating type indirectly heats the workpiece through a muffle furnace, with a maximum temperature of approximately 700℃ and simple maintenance. The internal heating type directly heats the workpiece, with a maximum temperature reaching 1300℃ and higher thermal efficiency.

The furnace has excellent sealing, effectively preventing surface oxidation and rusting of workpieces during heat treatment. Some models feature a movable furnace body for accelerated cooling.

Cooling and Control Technology

Equipped with a forced airflow circulation cooling system, the cooling pressure can reach 2 Bar, supporting rapid cooling under vacuum conditions to improve production efficiency.

Utilizing PID intelligent program temperature control, it allows for editing multi-segment heating curves and features automatic alarm protection against over-temperature and over-pressure. The user interface is mostly a touchscreen for convenient process management.
