Product Overview

Bogie Hearth Box Furnace is a batch-type electric heat treatment furnace featured with a movable trolley hearth. Designed for large-size and heavy workpieces, it simplifies loading and unloading via rail-mounted electric trolley. It is widely applied for quenching, normalizing, annealing, tempering and aging processes in machinery, die, forging and metallurgy industries.

Main Structure & Working Principle

Structure

1.Furnace Body: Welded steel frame with full fiber refractory lining, excellent thermal insulation, low outer shell temperature and remarkable energy-saving effect.

2.Movable Trolley: Reinforced steel structure with heat-resistant base plate, driven by electric motor. It runs steadily on dedicated rails and supports heavy loads from hundreds of kilograms up to 100 tons.

3.Furnace Door: Electric lifting design with reliable sealing and interlock device to prevent heat loss and ensure operation safety.

4.Heating Elements: High-temperature resistance alloy heating elements installed on furnace walls and trolley surface, featuring fast heating speed and long service life.

5.Control System: Equipped with PLC and PID intelligent temperature controller, multi-point temperature detection, temperature accuracy up to ±1℃. Multi-segment heating & cooling curves can be programmed for diverse production demands.

Working Flow

1.The trolley travels out of the furnace, and heavy workpieces are hoisted onto the trolley directly.

2.The trolley moves back into the furnace chamber, then the furnace door is fully closed and sealed.

3.Start heating, holding and cooling according to preset technological parameters. Inert gas protection is optional.

4.After heat treatment, open the furnace door and move the trolley out for finished workpieces unloading.
