Important Usage Notes
Avoid 600–700℃ for stainless steel: Extended holding in this range may cause embrittlement phases, reducing corrosion resistance and toughness.
Plan for dimensional change: Stress relief during tempering may cause slight part movement. Precision components require machining allowance or fixturing.
