Customization Scope and Process

I. Requirements Confirmation (Most Critical)

1. Workpiece Information

Material (e.g., 45# steel, 20CrMnTi, stainless steel, etc.)

Maximum Size & Single Furnace Load

Annual Output / Daily Output

Target Hardness or Microstructure Requirements

2. Process Requirements

Quenching / Tempering / Normalizing / Carburizing / Annealing?

Is a Protective Atmosphere Required (Nitrogen / Hydrogen / Mixed Gas)?

Is No Oxidation or Decarburization Required?

Temperature Range (e.g., 850℃ / 950℃ / 1100℃)

☞ This step determines the furnace structure.

II. Equipment Selection

Select Furnace Type Based on Requirements:

Requirement Recommended Equipment
Small-batch high-end Vacuum furnace
Continuous mass production Mesh belt furnace / Pusher furnace
Ordinary quenching Chamber furnace
Surface strengthening Carburizing furnace / Nitriding furnace

Simultaneously Determine:

Heating Method (Electric Heating / Gas Heating)

Furnace Chamber Material (304 / 310S)

Insulation Material (Ceramic Fiber / Refractory Brick)

Temperature Control Accuracy (±1℃ / ±5℃)

III. Engineering Design Stage

1️. Structural Design

Furnace Shell Strength

Thermal Expansion Allowance

Loading and Unloading Method (Manual / Robotic Arm)

2️. Electrical Design

PLC Control System

Temperature Controller

Alarm System

Data Recording System

3️. Atmosphere System (If Required)

Flow Control

Airtightness Design

Safety Interlock

IV. Manufacturing Process

Flow:

Furnace Body Machining

Heating Element Installation (Electric Heating Tube / Silicon carbide rods)

Insulation layer installation

Electrical control cabinet assembly

Pipeline system installation

Complete machine assembly

V. Commissioning Phase

No-fire furnace commissioning

Temperature rise curve test

Power test

Leakage test

Load commissioning

Sample firing

Hardness test

Microstructure inspection

☞ This stage determines the final quality of the equipment.

VI. Delivery and Training

On-site installation

Operation training

Maintenance training

Spare parts list provided

VII. Post-launch optimization

Excellent equipment suppliers will provide:

Process optimization suggestions

Energy consumption analysis

Automation upgrade

Remote data monitoring
