Controlled Hydrogen Atmosphere Annealing Furnace
It is a professional sealed industrial heat-treatment furnace that carries out bright annealing under controlled pure hydrogen or H₂-N₂ mixed reducing atmosphere, with electric heating instead of hydrogen combustion for heating source. The core is to build an oxygen-free reducing chamber to relieve workpiece internal stress, optimize grain structure, and remove surface oxides for mirror-bright metal surfaces.
Working Principle
1.First vacuum the furnace cavity and replace residual air with high-purity hydrogen (≥99.99%) to isolate oxygen completely and stop new oxidation at high temperature.
2.Hydrogen reduction reaction: At annealing temperature, H₂ reacts with metal oxides on workpiece surface: Metal Oxide+H2→Pure Metal+H2O(gas); generated water vapor is continuously exhausted out of furnace, thoroughly stripping original oxide scale.
3.Hydrogen features excellent thermal conductivity (2× nitrogen,7× air), realizing even temperature distribution inside chamber for consistent annealing quality.
4.Complete heating → holding → slow cooling whole process under stable positive-pressure hydrogen atmosphere to avoid secondary oxidation during cooling.
Main Structural Features
1.Full airtight double-layer furnace shell: Water/air cooling on outer shell for low surface temperature, stable inner chamber pressure.
2.High-temperature heating elements: Molybdenum wire, tungsten rod or silicon molybdenum rod (max working temp commonly 1200~1700℃).
3.Complete hydrogen safety system: Gas leakage detector, automatic tail gas ignition, emergency nitrogen purging & automatic H₂ cutoff for explosion prevention.
4.Precision gas flow & PID temperature control (temp tolerance ±1~±5℃).
