Controlled Atmosphere Sintering Furnace - High Temperature Muffle Type for Heat TreatmentSintering furnaces are high-temperature heat treatment equipment specifically designed for powder metallurgy, cemented carbides and precision ceramics. They enable the high-temperature sintering of powder green bodies in a vacuum or protective atmosphere, causing the powder particles to densify and form a compact structure, thereby achieving high-strength, high-density workpieces. They are widely used in the mass production of automotive components, cutting tools, electronic magnetic materials and new energy components, and include various models such as batch-type chamber furnaces, continuous mesh belt furnaces and pusher-type vacuum furnaces.

Description of the sintering furnace
Sintering furnaces are precision high-temperature heat treatment industrial furnaces. Through precise temperature control combined with a controlled atmosphere or vacuum-sealed environment, they utilise atomic diffusion to bond powder green parts and reduce porosity at temperatures below the raw material’s melting point, densifying the green parts into finished workpieces. The process prevents oxidation, decarburisation and deformation throughout, making it the core forming equipment following powder compaction.
Sintering furnace Process Principles
After being loaded into the furnace, the workpieces sequentially undergo three processes: debinding and degreasing → high-temperature sintering → uniform controlled cooling:
1. Low-temperature stage: Removal of binders and lubricants from the green body;
2. High-temperature sintering stage: Atomic diffusion forms a sintering neck, causing the green body to shrink and densify;
3. Slow cooling stage: Uniform cooling under a protective atmosphere to prevent product cracking and oxidation.
