What Is Powder Metallurgy Sintering Furnace?
Powder Metallurgy Sintering Furnace is a dedicated continuous atmosphere heat treatment equipment for powder metallurgy compacts. It combines degreasing, preheating, high-temperature sintering and sealed slow cooling into one automatic production line, transforming loose metal powder blanks into high-density, high-strength and bright finished metal components.
Different from traditional batch furnaces, our sealed muffle mesh belt design adopts stable inert atmosphere protection (nitrogen, nitrogen-hydrogen mixture or ammonia decomposition gas). It thoroughly removes internal lubricants and binders, completes metal particle recrystallization and densification under oxygen-free conditions. Finished PM parts feature uniform density, stable hardness, no oxidation or carbon loss, requiring no secondary polishing or repairing.

Working Principle
The whole furnace runs under stable micro-positive protective atmosphere, completing standardized sintering through five independent sealed zones:
Low-temperature preheating volatilizes and decomposes internal lubricants and binders of PM compacts. The built-in waste gas purification system eliminates oil fume and organic exhaust, avoiding carbon spots and meeting global environmental standards.
Further removes residual organic impurities inside blanks. Gradual temperature rise prevents cracking and deformation caused by rapid heating, ensuring clean internal structure for high-quality sintering.
Multi-zone PID precise temperature control provides stable high-temperature environment. Metal powder particles realize diffusion, recrystallization and bonding to achieve densification and strength promotion, with zero oxidation throughout the process.
Stable constant temperature eliminates internal stress, balances internal and external density, stabilizes mechanical properties and avoids post-sintering size deviation and deformation.
PM parts cool slowly under oxygen-free protective atmosphere, completely isolated from outside air. Finished products maintain uniform bright surface without oxidation, discoloration or rust.
