Product Overview
This alloy wire heating rod is developed for harsh high-temperature heat treatment environments that ceramic heating rods cannot withstand. It adopts imported FeCrAl or nickel-chromium alloy resistance wire as the core heating medium, featuring excellent high-temperature strength, anti-carburization and thermal shock resistance.
Different from ceramic heating rods used for medium-low temperature tempering lines, this alloy heating rod can stably operate at ultra-high temperature up to 1250℃ for a long time. It is widely matched with box quenching furnaces, bogie hearth high-temperature sintering furnaces and carburizing furnaces, perfectly meeting the rapid heating and high holding temperature requirements of mold steel, high-hardness fasteners and powder metallurgy structural parts.
Working Principle
After power on, the internal FeCrAl/NiCr alloy wire generates heat rapidly and radiates uniform infrared heat into the closed furnace cavity. The high-temperature alloy structure maintains stable resistance value under long-term ultra-high temperature environment, providing continuous and stable heat source for quenching, sintering and carburizing processes. Its anti-carburizing property prevents carbon powder from corroding the heating core, extending service life under harsh furnace atmosphere.
Main Structure
High temp ceramic insulator discs: separate heating wires, insulation & anti-short circuit, withstand 1200℃
Alloy heating wire: 0Cr25Al5 / Cr20Ni80 optional, anti-oxidation & long service life
Thermal insulation section: wrapped by aluminum silicate fiber, cool down wiring end to protect terminals
Mount base: flange / double lug fixing bracket, easy disassembly
Conductive electrode: thick screw rod, stable conduction, anti-burning

FAQ
Q1: When should I choose alloy wire heating rod instead of ceramic heating rod?
A: Select alloy wire heating rod if your furnace working temperature exceeds 900℃, or the equipment runs under carburizing/quenching harsh atmosphere; ceramic rods are only suitable for medium-low temperature tempering lines below 900℃.
Q2: Will the alloy wire break easily under frequent quenching temperature cycles?
A: Our alloy wire is high-temperature forged with optimized winding process, with strong thermal shock resistance, no fracture failure after thousands of heating-cooling cycles.
