What is a Continuous Mesh Belt Tempering Furnace?

A Continuous Mesh Belt Tempering Furnace is an automated heat treatment equipment specifically designed for high-volume, small metal parts. Its most core feature is the use of a high-temperature resistant metal mesh belt as the conveying medium, driving workpieces continuously and smoothly through various temperature control zones to achieve efficient and stable tempering processes.

Applications: Fasteners (screws, nuts), bearings, chains, hardware tools, bicycle parts, etc.

Working Principle & Four Core Systems

  1. Continuous Conveying System: The furnace uses a heat-resistant steel woven mesh belt. Workpieces are placed on the belt, which is driven by a variable frequency motor at an adjustable speed, continuously carrying them into the furnace.

  2. Heating & Temperature Control System: The furnace is divided into preheating zone, heating zone, and soaking zone. Typically electrically heated (e.g., FEC ceramic plates, straight rod elements) and equipped with forced circulation fans to ensure temperature uniformity. A closed-loop control system with intelligent PID regulators and thermocouples achieves accuracy up to ±1°C.

  3. Atmosphere Control System (Optional): To prevent oxidation at high temperatures, protective atmospheres such as nitrogen, methanol, or Endogas can be introduced to achieve bright tempering.

  4. Automated Loading & Unloading System: The equipment can integrate automatic loaders and washers to achieve fully automated operation from loading to unloading, significantly reducing labor costs.
