Product Description
This cast iron base furnace circulation fan is specially customized for intermittent batch heat treatment furnaces, including box tempering furnaces, bogie hearth annealing furnaces and chamber-type aging ovens. Different from continuous mesh belt furnace fans, it adopts thickened integral cast iron base to greatly reduce vibration during low-speed large-torque stirring operation. In batch furnace working mode, workpieces are static inside the chamber, which puts higher demands on air mixing uniformity. This fan creates turbulent hot air flow to eliminate cold & hot zones, ensuring identical heating effect for every batch of metal parts during tempering, stress relief and bright annealing processes.
Working Principle
When the furnace reaches target holding temperature, the cast iron base stirring fan runs at constant low speed. The wide impeller pushes hot air to form three-dimensional circulating turbulence inside sealed furnace cavity, breaking temperature stratification. Cast iron base absorbs vibration generated by air convection, making the whole stirring system stable without shaking. All workpieces obtain consistent heating temperature to avoid uneven hardness or oxidation color difference.
Complete Product Structure
High temperature resistant motor: Special vertical motor with heat insulation coating, withstand long-term ambient temperature below 120℃ outside the furnace.
Cast iron fan base: Grey cast iron / ductile iron / stainless steel composite optional, heat insulation interlayer design to isolate furnace high temperature.
Stainless steel drive shaft: 304 / 316 stainless steel lengthened shaft, customized length according to furnace wall thickness, wear-resistant & anti-oxidation.
Stainless steel stirring impeller: Multi-blade fan wheel with high air volume, integral casting or welding molding, high temperature resistant without deformation.
High temperature sealing assembly: Graphite packing and heat-resistant oil seal prevent hot gas leakage from furnace.
Application Scenarios
Box tempering furnace for hardware fasteners
Bogie hearth annealing furnace for mold steel
Batch chamber aging furnace for aluminum castings
Intermittent nitriding furnace, small batch brazing box furnace
Single-chamber lab heat treatment oven
Product Advantages
Thickened Integral Cast Iron Base High-density cast iron one-piece molding, strong shock absorption. Effectively suppress resonance during long-time low-speed stirring, no loose installation even after thousands of batch production cycles.
Large Torque Low-Speed Stirring Design Optimized wide blade impeller, focuses on air mixing rather than high-speed air output. Perfect for static workpiece stirring inside closed batch furnaces.
Anti-High Temperature Long Shaft Structure Extended heat insulation isolation shaft blocks furnace high-temperature heat conduction to motor, motor keeps normal temperature without overheating shutdown during long-time holding.
Stable Operation for Intermittent Working Cycle Adapt to frequent furnace door opening & temperature fluctuation of batch furnaces, no airflow instability caused by temperature shock.

FAQ
Q1: Why choose cast iron base instead of steel plate base for batch furnaces?
A: Batch furnaces open doors frequently and work intermittently. Cast iron has 3x better shock absorption capacity than ordinary steel, avoiding bolt loosening and fan deviation after long-term vibration.
Q2: Can this stirring fan work under frequent temperature rise & cooling cycles?
A: Yes. Our shaft adopts multi-layer heat insulation sleeve to isolate rapid temperature change impact, suitable for daily repeated batch production.
