The continuous annealing furnace operates on the principle of automated annealing, utilising continuous conveyor-belt transport, zone-specific temperature control and atmosphere protection.
The equipment utilises a traction drive system to feed strip, wire and tube materials into the sealed furnace chamber at a constant, uninterrupted speed. The furnace interior is divided into distinct zones according to the process: a preheating zone, a high-temperature heating and holding zone, a slow-cooling zone and a final cooling zone. Through precise temperature control in each section, the metal materials undergo a complete annealing process—including heating, grain recrystallisation, stress relief and uniform cooling—in accordance with standard process curves.
Simultaneously, nitrogen, a nitrogen-hydrogen mixture or pure hydrogen is continuously introduced into the furnace as a protective atmosphere, completely displacing the air inside and isolating the metal from oxygen. This prevents oxidation, decarburisation and blackening of the metal at high temperatures, ultimately achieving an annealing result characterised by continuous, uninterrupted mass production, a bright surface finish and the complete elimination of internal stresses.
