Bogie Hearth Box Furnace for Heavy Casting Mold Annealing Tempering Heat Treatment

The Bogie Hearth Furnace for Heavy Castings and Molds is designed for batch heat treatment of large, heavy and difficult-to-handle components. The rail-mounted movable hearth allows heavy castings, molds and tooling to be loaded by crane outside the furnace before the trolley enters the heating chamber, simplifying material handling and reducing loading difficulty.

This furnace can be configured for annealing, tempering, normalizing, stress relieving and other heat treatment processes according to the material and production requirements. It is particularly suitable for large molds, steel castings, forgings, rollers and other heavy components requiring controlled and uniform heating. Furnace chamber dimensions, loading capacity, operating temperature and control systems can be customized according to the workpiece.

Designed for Heavy Workpieces
The furnace uses a reinforced movable bogie hearth to support large castings, molds, forgings and other heavy components. Workpieces can be loaded while the bogie is positioned outside the furnace, making crane loading and positioning easier than with a fixed-hearth chamber furnace.

Rail-Mounted Bogie Hearth
The bogie travels along dedicated rails between the loading area and furnace chamber. This design provides convenient access for loading bulky workpieces and can be customized according to the required workpiece dimensions and loading capacity.

Heavy-Duty Furnace Chamber
The furnace body uses a welded steel structure with thermal insulation and refractory lining. The chamber dimensions, heating zones and heating power can be designed according to the size, weight and heat treatment requirements of the workpiece.

Controlled Heating
The heating system can be arranged in multiple zones to improve temperature distribution around large workpieces. PLC and PID temperature control can be configured for programmable heating, soaking and cooling stages according to the required heat treatment process.

Customized Loading Solution
For unusually large or heavy components, Rexin can customize the bogie dimensions, rail arrangement, furnace door configuration and loading method according to the customer's workshop layout and workpiece handling requirements.

Annealing
Suitable for annealing large castings, molds and heavy steel components to reduce hardness, improve machinability and prepare the workpiece for subsequent manufacturing processes.

Tempering
Used after hardening to reduce brittleness, relieve internal stress and obtain the required balance of hardness and toughness for large molds, dies and heavy-duty components.

Normalizing
Suitable for castings and forgings requiring controlled heating and cooling to refine the microstructure and improve material properties before further machining or heat treatment.

Stress Relieving
Suitable for large castings, welded structures, molds and machined components where residual stress needs to be reduced after casting, welding or machining.
